Is Anatomy Franka Potente Any Good?

Is there alot of gore i know anatomy 2 is only in german language but is part 1 on vhs the english dubbed version???

Not sure about the VHS. I have a German dvd which is the same as the US dvd. I just watched it subbed both times, although the dvd offers dub as well.
I didn't care so much for the second one, but the first is classic.
Been a while since I watched it so I can't remember if there was tons of gore, but I remember it giving me that nice un-easy feeling that only a good horror movie can.
It's back on my list of things to watch soon.

I really dig it. For a foreign horror film, I think it blends the humor and horror very well without going too silly. The story itself isn't all that original but it is certainly good enough for the cheap-bin pricing that it has.

Great movie! Believe it or not, I got it in the Wal-Mart bargain bin for $5.50!

I liked Anatomy. There's some pretty silly moments, like:

Spoiler: When she says something to the effect that she's been doing a lot of research about the anti-hippocratics, but didn't find much... Yet she's holding three books about the subject.

But still, not bad. Wouldn't mind watching it again.

I enjoyed it,its' well made and has some great scenes.I've also been a fan of Potente since RUN LOLA RUN.

I love it! Then again, I generally seem to love Foreign films that take place in a hospital setting. Don't ask me why, because I couldn't tell you. Perhaps it's because I can more easily suspend my disbelief than I can with most domestic films of late.

The sequel is actually pretty decent too. Both of the R1 DVD's are surprisingly great special editions. Why the heck would you want it on VHS?

Anatomy > Anatomy 2 but their both pretty cool.
Franka's not in part 2 as much if I recall.

I might have to pick up Anatomy 2, which I keep seeing in the $5.50 bin. I can't seem to find Anatomy any more, which makes me kick myself because I never bought it when I came across it.

Franka just has a cameo in part 2. Well maybe not a true cameo but still a very small role.

I don't see the US disc for the first one around anymore either. It might be OOP. A quick look at dvdpricesearch shows $6 at Deepdiscountdvd, or used ones at Amazon for around $5 (add shipping there though). That's better than the used stores around here (which didn't have any yesterday but they show up now and then).
