I don't consider V a guilty pleasure. It's pretty fucking solid (well, the miniseries at least). I guess that's the shitty thing about being created in the 80s, everyone is ashamed of the stuff they liked.

It's not space or future sci-fi, but Congo is definately science fiction and a big guilty pleasure of mine. It has Laura Linney, Tim Curry and music by Jerry Goldsmith. It doesn't get much better for me.
Oh, and it also has the best phrase ever: "What about them?" "Put them on the endangered species list!" And Ms. Linney blows them all to hell.
