Wal-Mart $4.88 - IN CANADA
I know there's a lot of Wal-Mart haters out there, but just thought I'd drop a note of some great buys that I ran into last night. Good and cheap to add to your collection (if you don't already have them).
HORROR: TCM 2 Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) Phantom of the Opera (Robert Englund) .... there may be more that I can't remember Others: River's Edge (one of my all time favourites) Once Bitten Lone Wolf McQuade .....and a bunch of others that I can't remember. Sorry it's pretty vague, but it gives you an idea. There's some pretty good stuff. You may want to check it out!!!!!! |

Fucking US Walmart's not having the good MGM 4.88 sale.
They had a good Paramount and Columbia Tristar sale at the US Walmart's a few months back with a lot of titles for 4.88, why can't they have this one? |

I will be heading to EvilMart after work tonight. As much as I hate EvilMart, the only thing I will ever buy there are the cheap cheap DVD's, nothing else.

I must say that seeing WAL MART - THE HIGH COST OF LOW PRICE at Berlin Film Festival made me shit my pants.
There are many places to buy cheap dvd's anyway. Good buys though!

It should be a crime to sell Lone Wolf McQuade for that cheap. You don't want to piss Chuck off.

For those buying these titles, be sure to open them immediately and check to make sure they are alright. My Phantom of the Opera disc, which wasn't even loose in the case, had severe scratches on both sides from the manufacturing process...I have to take it back and exchange it now. Oh and weird thing, the cover insert for Invasion of the Body Snatchers was upside down in the case. I wanted to pick up a couple more titles anyway (I saw Loosin It and Valley Girl:SE), so I was gonna have to go back tomorrow anyway
