So AB pulled Opera until Oct 30?

I ordered Suspiria first and was getting Opera a few weeks later. Last night I tried to order Opera LE from Amazon, DeepDiscountDVD and Buy.com and none had it. Amazon said it's being released on Oct 30. I knew AB was sending replacement discs to those with the faulty ones, but I didn't know they'd pulled Opera from stores and online retailers until they got the newly pressed discs.

Question, are they pressing enough to make up for the damaged so the total of sets is still 6,000 or are they making more? Is the limited edition still as limited as before?

The store over here, I wont say which because they might get in trouble, but they still have it on the shelfs. I was gonna buy it because they had the limited one with the soundtrack. But I only had like $20 with me. I think I'm gonna try and pick it up just to get the limited one, because it's only five dollars more, then I'll just order my replacement one once I get it.

Lot's of places still have it on the shelves. Go to just about any Fry's Electronics, or Best Buy in the nation and you'll more than likely find a copy.

Suspiria LE

Rainbowthief,
As far as the Suspiria disc goes, the original run was 60,000 not 6,000 wasn't it? I think they are making additionals though because I just got mine two weeks ago and it was numbered 3,???/10,000. I don't remember the exact number because I don't have it in front of me at the moment. I guess mine must be the limited limited edition!

Just a guess but it could be part of a separate Canadian run. My Army of Darkness Director's Cut was one of 5,000 issued for Canada. That was on top of the normal run (40,000?).

Just got back from Best Buy, and they had several Operas, which did have the 2.0 Version sticker on the back. Once again, Scamazon is wrong.

I went to Best Buy today and they had the 2.0 version of Opera. That sucks because I haven't recieved my replacement disc and there's a corrected version right in front of me. I just hope AB mails the replacement disc in sturdy packaging. I'm going to be pissed if I get my disc and it's scratched or even worse cracked!

You should be okay. AB sent me a missing card from the Hellraiser tin and it came with a cardboard backing board. (Still managed to become a little bent in transit due to mishandling but I was impressed with the overall quality of packing and even more impressed that AB actually shipped to an overseas customer.)

I was referring to Opera. You're right about Suspiria being 60,000 sets, but Opera is a smaller run. I don't remember how many (somewhere between 6,000 and 11,000). I was just wondering if the replacements will swell up the number or keep it the same.

There is a further 3,000 LE production run for Canada. Not sure how many for UK.

For Suspiria, the run was 60,000 for U.S., 10,000 for Canada and 30,000 for UK. Does anyone know if there was another run for Japan and the far East?

Guess, limited is not so limited after all.
