Toxic Avenger DVD

There are a few Troma movies I would like to get but never bothered because the transfers were just so horrible. But now I see this new Toxic Avenger DVD is in widescreen so now I am interested. Has anyone seen this? I almost know I shouldn't ask but is it (lol) anamorphic?

Also, it was not originally shot widescreen. For the 21st Anniversery DVD they decided to crop it to widescreen, because people asked them to do so. All Troma's productions are shot full frame.

But get both versions of the DVD, the 21st Anniversery edition, and the standard release. Why? Because the movie is amazing. That is why.

There's also a new Toxic Avenger box set coming out in September from Troma.

It's on most retailers as a pre-order now... like Amazon, DVD Empire, Deep Discount DVD, etc.

It's titled The Complete Toxic Avenger.

Is that the 21st anniversary edition with the cropped widescreen version or the original release with the OAR. Either way I'm not interested as I already own all this (except for the Toxic Crusaders collection), I just want it to be made clear so people know what they're getting.

My guess is that it's the 21st anniversary edition, but you never know. Also, do you still get that nifty mini-poster with Citizen Toxie?! I didn't think so.

No, the "Tromorphic" widescreen 2-disc release is NOT animorphic.

A NEW COLLECTION? Aye. I have the original Tox Box. Not sure if I'll splurge on this and can the other one or not.

Supposedly the Complete Toxic Avenger set is finally coming out on 4/29/08. We'll see, though.

Unless they actually took the time to do a good remastering of the flicks I see no point in rebuying all of these. My wonderful Tox Box is enough for me.
