Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The E! True Hollywood Story

Tim Harden's site confirms it. It will air sometime in September. Here's hoping it will be two hours instead of one.

Sweet. Too bad this couldn't be on Dark Sky's new disc, but then again E's THS aren't always all that good.

I'll probably try to catch this one but I seriously doubt that it'll have much more than we'll get with the upcoming SE, as far as footage is concerned. I guess it's good for the casual fan who doesn't really want to buy another release of the film, but "The Shocking Truth" should be good enough (especially with outtakes) to satisfy most rabid fans. I'm buying it and I already have the R2 SE.....whoopee!!! Can't wait!!!

anyone else watch this? i recorded it the other day and finally got to watching it. It's not too bad. It talks about the entire series rather than the original. A good portion of the time is dedicated to the original and everything said can be found on the UE featurettes. Then 2 and 3 were mentioned and passed over pretty quickly. Surprisingly, part 4 got a decent amount of airtime. They showed quite a few behind the scenes footage. I guess it's because of the two "stars" in the film. But it's cool to finally see something from this film since it's the only movie in the series that does not have a SE dvd (and i highly doubt it ever will, even though i'd buy it in a heartbeat!). A good amount of time was put into the remake and prequel, which is expected. Overall, a quick, decent overview of the entire series. I wonder if THS of other horror franchises are in the works?
