When i saw the title Catacombs, i was thinking of the 1988 movie staring Timothy Van Patton.

Oh man, this movie is terrible beyond words. A good idea that fails in every area. The pacing is boring, the characters annoying, the script and dialogue are lame...and the ending is a huge letdown. The movie even starts with a pitiful semi-spoiler voiceover.
Way to go Lions Gate, another non-anamorphic widescreen DVD. Well, it's not like this turd deserved 16x9 treatment I suppose. Not even worth a rental.

I thought this wasn't bad. An unique setting with some good lighting choices OK acting and a down beat ending. If it wasn't for Shannyn Sossamon this would of been much worse then it was.
