Nightmare on Elm Street DVD Review

dread central just posted a new review for the upcoming dvd! good news is....it does infact include all the deleted scenes and alternate takes including some never before seen (i.e. footage of freddy dragging tina across the ceiling) and it also has the alternate endings. this is definetely a must buy now.

This is killing me as my HD player arrives soon and NOES is coming out on HD overseas in December---

Please give me the strength to wait this out and not triple-dip!

Holy mother of fuck!
There was no way I was gonna get this disc being the ower of the boxset and laserdisc (and dvdr or laserdisc extras), but now I fucking have to. At least a couple things will remain exclusive to my precious laserdisc, but New Line proves to be the best dvd production company.

I think I'll try to wait a bit, but if it's super-cheap somewhere first week I know I won't be able to resist it. Curse you and your excellence NL, you get more of my $.

All the deleted scenes, and more never seen?! Awesome...I was going to buy it anyway, but that just makes it all the more worthy!

I'm seeing this tonight in the theater. Are the Alternate Endings on the disc the same ones as the box set has? That is, a recut, unwatchable version of the existing ending and another recut, unwatchable version of the existing ending, which you must complete a vague, nearly impossible puzzle to watch.

Same here. Seeing as I own the boxset, I wasn't goning to double dip. But now I have to.

This Tuesday is officially Double Dip Day. First the Street Trash Meltdown Edition, and now this (because of this review and news of course).
