SAW 3 --- Discussion

I didn't really see this posted anywhere. Sorry if it was already started.

Anyway:

Anybody interested in this film opening on the 27th. ?
Could be decent, then again I know not a lot of people like the series.
That opening scene looked pretty good on those awards show the other night.

trailer & info (like you wouldn't figure it out)

http://www.saw3.com/

I also know which was mention before on some thread that the Saw II: Uncut Edition is comming out on the 24th. Nice tie in with part 3, huh?

I thought Saw II had a weak ending that made me roll my eyes.

I've enjoyed both Saw outtings so far, so I'll go and see this.
My GF loves these movies more than me, so much that she drove directly to Hollywood last weekend after seeing the trailer for "Are You Scared" on another dvd.
AYS was pretty week and neither of us really enjoyed it much, but Saw always brings the goods. "Oh yes, there will be blood!"

The first one was goofy but funny because of it. The second one I enjoyed as a horror film. Here's hoping #3 improves even more. I'm sure I'll rent it eventually.

Saw 2 was terrible!!!! the trailer to this is pretty intense, and it looks like more torture, so i will check it out.

I hated Saw when I first saw it, but came to love it for the cheese provided by one Cary Elwes. Saw 2 was a pretty good straight-up horror movie. Not perfect, but fun just the same. What is Saw 3 going to be like? I have no idea, but I will check it out opening weekend.

I realized you were teasing, no problem.

So are you going to see Saw 3 or wait for Saw 4? I hear that in Saw 4 the victims have to race against time to play a mean game of Jenga. Loser has to clean up.

that always urked me about the series as well. It's as bad as the 'I'm not a murderer.' part of it too.

I might end up seeing this by mistake like Saw 2 and 1.

I was dragged into it.

Yeah, that's my only real problem with the series. "I've never killed anybody..." Unfortunately, we have to hear it about 10 times per film, and it's complete bullshit. I look at these films as the Jackass of Horror. You know, you go to get squeamish. "What kind of messed up crap is going to happen to this guy, I wonder? Chew a key out of his best friend's testicle to unlock the door to the cage that he's in, but in order to get out he has to step over babies wrapped in razor-wire?" Hey, why not? They're fun, but I wonder how much steam they have left. I'll rent it for sure.

This series is merely average to me. I really hope they retire it after this third installment.

I thought the first one was enjoyable with some creepy moments. I really disliked Saw II. I don't care much for seeing the third film, but I guess I'll check it out one day.
