just saw it--this looks like an utter disaster---and i liked the dawn remake after being sure I would not--

Interstingly Dawn won over my interest with some great trailers...

this trailer screams crap and also l\ooks like it will pissa ll over the source material...

Hope I am wrong but ugghh was that not what I hoped to see....

well at least I can say this one good thing about the trailer:

It looks absolutely positively 100% nothing like or even remotely like the same story as the original.

Which brings the question WHY THE HELL IS CALLED DAY OF DEAD??? Why not call it someting else?

Uhhhhhh.
It doesn't look great, but it doesn't look that horrible either.
I'll give it a rent.
Is this even going to theaters? Not sure if I will or not, in fact on that one trailer I know I won't. Maybe some better trailers/TV spots will make me more interested. It does look like just some zombie movie sharing the name.

Yep.

Ah well. As long as it's nothing at all to do with the original storyline, it might be good.

Is putting "From The Director of Halloween H2O" on the poster such a good idea? Is that really a selling point???

I just saw this and almost shit my pants. Not in a good way, though, but really, is there a GOOD way to shit your pants?

I think it looks terrible. Nick Cannon's amazing line, "Looks like it's a bad day to be a zombie" makes me want to put a glass shard in my eye.

Is using the "Day" name a selling point either? Most people haven't really heard of Day of the Dead. Average movie goes have heard of "Dawn" but not "Day". So what is up with this remake in name only?

It looked like a crap fest to me. especially that last line in the trailer totally did it in for me.
