these pages are loading so slow, it's taken me 30 minutes just to load up the page to click "view trailer" and now it's attempting to stream the video.. at this rate the movie will be out in theatres before i've finished watching the trailer!!

I'm not a huge fan of the original and this trailer didn't get me excited either. I might check it out when available on DVD even though trailer and poster reminded my alot of Land Of The Dead:

Like all trailers these days, it's so quickly edited you can't tell whether the movie is going to be good or bad, because IMO they always seem to make the movie look bad. The only things I know about this now that I've seen the trailer is that it's a remake in name only and the cast is young. I kind of like the shots of zombies jumping out of second story windows, though.

I am a die hard Romero fan. And after enjoying the Dawn remake I was really looking forward to this Day remake until I saw the trailer. It was a total let down. It looks like shit. The majority of the cast looks too young to me and as usual they appear to have raging hormones. Come on guys can't you honor the source material enough to make a good film rather than a "direct to video" quality trash film?

I hope those involved frequent this forum. I want them to know many of us don't like what we saw.

Maybe this is supposed to be the real companion to that shit fest "Day of the Dead - Contagium"

wow... ummm... thats looks like complete shit!! and it will def. be going straight to video, I don't think any company would be stupid enough to try making money off that in theatres. I know it's only a trailer, but it was so god awful i KNOW it's going to be bad.

I also enjoyed the remake quite a bit. And I know it did pretty good in theatres, so it makes me wonder why didn't they get all the same people involved and make a sequal to the remake? I think that could have been really good. Even if they didn't remake Day, and just did a sequal on the island or whatever.

Anyways, I'm dissapointed, but atleast maybe now people will start to appreciate the original Day a bit more!
