Favorite Horror DVD of 2006?

There were less must-have hits this year, and many more niche films that made the bulk of 2006 horror DVD slate. With that in mind I am sure it will be a lot tougher to devise a "best-of" poll, but I'll try my best. I'll put an "other" option, but I really do hate it. Lemme know your favorites, ladies and gents!

Has to be the TCM Ultimate Edition for me. Simple logic for me...great DVD, great film.

Of this year's films, I'll go with SLITHER--enjoyed that DVD a lot too, with the fun "meat" menu screen.

Wow, I'm very surprised that I almost have none of the DVDs listed above. I voted for the Killer Queen box set since it was a pretty memorable item. Liked the films too

That said, I still really want Spirit of the Beehive and Pet Sematary (and The Dead Zone ... where is The Dead Zone??)

Masters of Horror also deserve lots of props for some excellent DVD releases, not to mention giving some of the old guys a decent job again.

Equinox getting the Criterion treatment gets the biggest "WHAAAA...??" reaction, just love it. Honourable mention goes to the excellent TCM ultimate edition DVD.

Voted for TCM....
As far as films that were new in 06, I'd vote for the Hills remake.

Voted for TCM, but Equinox and Dust Devil are right at the top along with it as well.

Maniac Cop is one of the best DVDs released last year from ANY genre. Following that, I think that TCM was plenty solid too.

Street Trash. Well worth the wait for someone (meaning: me) that had never seen the film before.

I voted for Street Trash. TCM is definately runner-up.

And also, another amazing DVD release not on that list, probably because it's not horror, but I have to give props up to the Tromeo & Juliet 10th Anniversery Edition.
