I would throw in a recommendation for Josee, The Tiger, and The Fish. It's only out on a Korean R2 release.

Not even close to a horror film; it's a semi-serious romantic comedy from Japan, but it's among my all-time favorite films. Very highly recommended.

The Phantasm flicks all have widescreen transfers and DTS sound and all the Death Wish flicks are uncut in their correct aspect ratios. The Phantasm Sphere is also a pretty sweet piece of packaging. People who see my collection always want to put their filthy paws on it.

Holy hell, how did I not know that there was an uncut Death Wish box set in the right aspect ratios?? Thanks a lot for the tip. I got to pick that one up now myself - if I can find it.
