"Note, a logo appears once in the corner"
I swear that logo popped up every 15 minutes. Maybe they re-matted it to cut the logo.
Also, if this is a single layer dvd-r, then having a 60 minute doc. is a massive waste of space, and means my dvd-r recorded from an avi which was recorded from the HD version probably looks better.
Funny site though. Makes me wonder how they can get away with what they do.

My estimation: Not for very long.

I'd buy his uncut Sleepaway Camp, but it looks like his attention on making fancy covers & extras for the other titles took up too much time. He could have made it an animorphic release. There's a new 1080i print of Sleepaway Camp that slipped his radar. Just like The Burning & Monster Squad it showed up on MonstersHD with an entirely different & better source than AB's dvd...damn I need a dish. Still haven't seen it.

Added: Oh, and MadMan also got the MonstersHD treatment.

His SLEEPAWAY CAMP ain't uncut. My friend already fell for that.

My friend said he just downloads torrents and sells them as real movies.

Even worse, as anyone who has a computer to order from him could just download themselves. Of course not everyone is in the know like that.

Hrm... 15 bucks a pop plus S&H or a totally free torrent... Decisions, decisions.

Granted there's some hard stuff to find out there even in the world of torrents, this guy certainly doesn't have any of that though. Some of what he list you can buy cheaper legit!

Q: Is Flesh Wound Video illegal pirate operation?

A: NO, The section of American copyright law known as "The Berne Act" clearly states: films unreleased in the United States, including original version of films altered and/or edited for release in the United States, are not protected by American copyright; thus, they are considered public domain. The entire purpose of our website is to provide rare and unavailable films from collector to collector. We do not offer videos owned by American distribution companies. If a film should become available domestically we immediately stop offering the title.
Oh dear lord. Don't tell me that someone is still trying to use that excuse.

The titles with no cover links mostly denote the use of custom covers made by fans for FREE distribution, not to help this prick look like a legitimate DVD outlet.

Nice to see him selling bootlegs of the SLEEPAWAY 4 PRODUCTION FOOTAGE DVD, which has my name on the introduction. I know it's hard to find but geez, why should this guy make money off an in-print DVD boxset - something that cost me alot of time and my own money to help put together? Asshole.

The Burning in the public domain?

Just because it's on TV, I suppose?
