Black Emanuelle's Box

Nice set. I love these movies, plus it comes with an awesome CD and postcards to boot. Great poster art on the DVD's. Can't wait for more Severin releases...

..but what's with not including the XXX version of Emanuelle Around the World in the box? I was really disappointed to find out that you had to buy that seperately. Why Severin, why?!

I really need to buy this set. The only Emanuelle film I've seen is Emanuelle in America, and initally I wasn't impressed, but now after a recent rewatch, I'm a lifelong fan.

Is the soundtrack CD only for the movies in the set or does it also have music from the other Emanuelle films?

This set looks great, even though I'm not that big of a Gemser fan. The non-inclusion of the hardcore version doesn't bother me that much, even though this somehow screws up the definition of a box set, i.e. having everything in one set with something special opposed to buying everything separate.

The CD has music from Black Emanuelle, Emanuelle in Bangkok and Emanuelle Around the World, if I remember correctly. It's good stuff.

Thanks Jeff! Looks like I'll have to spring for the Black Emanuelle's Groove CD in addition to the DVD box set in order to get the Emanuelle In America tracks.

It's kinda numbskull to not have the XXX version in there if even only as a bonus feature to the other version.

Black Emanuelle's second Box!

Not much going on in the Euro forum nowadays so here's some news:
http://www.amazon.com/Black-Emanuell...1786894&sr=1-1

Quote:
Product Description
Second Limited Edition Collection Includes Deleted Scenes, Exclusive Featurettes & All-New Nico Fidenco Soundtrack CD!
BLACK EMANUELLE/WHITE EMANUELLE - Laura Gemser and Annie Belle come together in the ultimate meeting of the Emanuelles, directed by the Oscar(r)-nominated screenwriter of LA DOLCE VITA and 8½.
BLACK EMANUELLE 2 - The insanely voluptuous Sharon Lesley stars as the nympho supermodel with a severe case of acute amnesia and depraved sexual fantasies.
EMANUELLE AND THE WHITE SLAVE TRADE - In this final and long-unseen Laura Gemser/Joe D'Amato/Emanuelle collaboration, the erotic adventuress penetrates a ruthless international prostitution ring.
BONUS CD - An all-new compilation of remastered Nico Fidenco music from EMANUELLE IN AMERICA, EMANUELLE & THE LAST CANNIBALS, and the never-before-released WHITE SLAVE TRADE soundtrack. ...plus alternate scenes, revealing interviews and beyond, all waiting in this second sumptuous taste of BLACK EMANUELLE'S BOX.

Not my taste but I know you guys will love it

I'll probably pick it up, but it's funny how the original Black Emanuelle isn't in either of the box sets.

I just ordered this last week when the DDD sale started. I can't wait to get it, I've wanted to see Emanuelle and The White Slave Trade for a long time.

i have both box sets. i just watched Emanuelle and The White Slave Trade. Another good entry in the series, although not as graphic or insane as a few of the other D'Amato's. Good music and a few memorable scenes. The soundtrack CD thats included with the box is fantastic and includes music from Emanuelle and the last Cannibals too.

Exactly when is the original black emanulle going to be released! I have it on vhs, but it's the edited version to get an R rating. I would think this one would be very popular if released on dvd.
