Anyone gonna get or seen RESONNANCES?

Looks and sounds kinda fun

A perfect getaway for a group of friends turns into a nightmare in this amazing French micro-budget horror/sci-fi film! Thomas, Yann, Vincent and three female friends hop into their cars and travel to the French mountains for a relaxing weekend trip. On their way, a dangerous psychopath escapes from prison and there’s even talk of a ghostly female apparition haunting the area. After picking up a suspicious hitchhiker, a thick fog envelops their cars and sends them all over a steep cliff! Barely surviving the fall, they soon discover something even more horrifying. An ancient creature lives under the ground… listening and waiting. It’s ready to devour anyone and anything in its path and this group of friends is very much on tonight’s menu!

Shot on non-anamorphic standard definition video with a very limited budget, RESONNANCES is filled with great performances, inventive ideas and some pretty amazing low-budget special effects. Mix one part TREMORS, a heaping helping of THE THING and add a splash of THE EVIL DEAD’s directorial inventiveness you get this ambitious love letter to independent DIY genre filmmakers everywhere!

There's a decent sale on Synapse titles going on at DVDEmpire right now.

I've got Embodiment Of Evil in my shopping cart, but I need one more title for free shipping over $25. I'm hoping to avoid any titles Synapse may be double dipping on blu-ray in the future.

So far the contenders are:
Effects
Nail Gun Massacre
Blue Sunshine
Thriller: They Call Her One Eye

Also, can anyone enlighten me on the differences between the two editions of Thriller. It looks like the limited edition runs 3 minutes longer. Is the limited edition worth the extra $5? Or is this movie a possible blu-ray contender?

Thriller is great! The limited version has (I believe) a hardcore sex scene and maybe an extra scene of gore, but it's been a good year or so since I watched it, but I do distinctly remember loving the movie.

It's been longer since I've seen Blue Sunshine, but it's another one I remember enjoying as well.

I've seen Effects and I own Nail Gun Massacre, both of them were just 'okay' in my opinion.

Thriller for $17.97 is a pretty good price, since it usually goes for around $25. I would recommend Nail Gun Massacre, but you do know what you're getting into, right?

Does anyone know if Synapse really has the rights to PLEDGE NIGHT? If so, is there any news about that one? That's a movie I barely ever hear mentioned.

Most Synapse titles are currently part of a B1G1 promotion at DeepDiscount. Glad I held off during the DVDEmpire Sale!

Just ordered:
Thriller: A Cruel Picture [Limited Edition] $20.27
Blue Sunshine FREE
or $10.14 per DVD!

and also:
Syngenor $11.23
Effects FREE
or $5.62 per DVD!

I've got Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare and Nail Gun Massacre in my cart, still deciding whether or not to pull the trigger on this one.

BTW, I asked Don May at Cinema Wasteland if they had the rights to PLEDGE NIGHT. He said NO. So consider that DVDAF listing debunked.

^ After posting that, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare and Nail Gun Massacre.

I received shipping notices for all three orders this morning.

Just finished watching Synapse's Blu-ray of Radley Metzger's The Image. Amazing hi-def transfer of an exceptionally classy, intelligent, and depraved gem from the 'porno chic' era.

^ I've never seen The Image and I was planning to pass on it, but your description has me intrigued.
