Question about Friday The 13th - The series

Does anyone know if/when this comes out on DVD? Or is there any news about it?

There were rumors it was going to come out last fall, but nothing ever came of it. I wish this would get a release. I am happy to be rewatching it on Chiller, but I would love to have the whole series on DVD to watch at anytime.

I loved this show. I actually met the woman who was the head make-up FX artist on the F13 show at a film festival special effects class way back in the day.

Although the first time I watched this show I was disappointed there was no Jason, I did think the show was awesome. Great idea and with more focus or fanbase there could have been more to offer. The preacher and his healing gloves always stuck in my mind.

I would assume that Paramount owns the rights to this so I wouldn't expect a DVD release anytime soon.

Considering it's Paramount who owns it, expect to see it released when.....HELL FREEZES OVER! I have one episode taped myself because it's one of my personal faves. I think it's called The Playhouse.
