It's probably just the other "brighter" version that Mill Creek has used on their releases of the film. See my screenshot comparisons earlier in this thread.

I wish someone would release a solid version of the film, it's long overdue. I can easily see Scorpion releasing this too..

Ah yes, the Diamond release is somewhat in between those two I'd say but closer to the Brentwood.

The Mill Creek version is definitely the brightest. It comes from a different print than the darker versions like Brentwood. Both have slightly different framing ratios.

It's technically also about 3 minutes longer in running time since it's from an NTSC source. The Brentwood version came from a PAL source and the speedup makes it run shorter. I don't know the running times of the other DVD releases like Diamond.

What's the size of the movie itself on the Mill Creek release? I wonder imagine it's compressed to hell in one of those 50-packs. The Diamond is 4.2 GB's.

The Diamond comes from a PAL source then.

The Mill Creek version looks good enough, I didn't really notice many compression artifacts. They all come from inferior old video masters.

Since there's apparently no really good copy of this movie available, may as well download it for free (legally) at publicdomaintorrents.com. Their copy is 85 minutes and a few seconds.

According to OFDb, both UK DVDs offer similar bad quality.

I'd have to pull out the disc to be sure, but probably under 3GB.

But being only 85 minutes with one audio track wouldn't affect it much. Even many Sony MOD DVD-R releases are under 3GB, not to mention Echo Bridge and Lionsgate shoving 4-5 films on a disc that look decent.
