Rate the Hellraiser franchise.

So good ol' Pinhead has appeared in numerous movies close in numbers to NOES and Halloween and F13th, so how do you rate this hellraising franchise?

Here's my list from best to worst:

Hellraiser
Hellraiser: Inferno
Hellbound: Hellraiser II
Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth
Hellraiser: Bloodline
Hellraiser: Deader
Hellraiser: Hellseeker
Hellraiser: Hellworld

I think the Hellraiser franchise is pretty solid up to part 5. Part's 6-8 (coinsidentally all directed by Rick Botta) suck enormous balls and should be avoided at all costs.

Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth
Hellraiser: Bloodline
Hellraiser: Hellworld
Hellraiser: Deader
Hellraiser: Hellseeker
Hellraiser: Inferno

I did enjoy Hellworld more than I should. Still, these DTV sequels are way better than the Prophecy sequels.

The first two Hellraiser films are among my favorites in the horror genre, and I love them both about equally. The franchise lost steam after Bloodline, yet I still enjoyed them for the most part.

Hellraiser
Hellbound: Hellraiser II
Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth
Hellraiser: Bloodline
Hellraiser: Hellworld
Hellraiser: Inferno
Hellraiser: Deader
Hellraiser: Hellseeker

Hellraiser II
Hellraiser
Hellraiser: Bloodline
Hellraiser III

Haven't seen the rest. Just watched Hellraiser I and II not too long ago--maybe I'll watch the rest of the series after I finish up with the Halloween series this month.

From best to worst:

Hellraiser (great)
Hellraiser II: Hellbound (equally great)
Hellraiser IV: Bloodlines (pretty damn good, gotten better over the years)
Hellraiser: Inferno (surprisingly good)
Hellraiser: Hellseeker (average)
Hellraiser: Hellworld (lame)
Hellraiser: Deader (lamer)
Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth (one of the worst horror films ever)

I really, really, really like the first two films. Hellraiser III was alright but nothing to write home about. I own it and watch it but not as much as the first two.

I remember nothing about the other sequels. Some I have seen, some I haven't. I have no idea.

First 2 only ones worth watching IMO.

Despite the fact that I'm actually a fan of all of these to varying degrees, I'm in no hurry to see Deader or Hellworld. Those two sound terrible.

I have yet to see Deader and Hellworld but plan to as soon as the price drops for the dvds. I still love watching this franchise mainly because of the Pinhead character.
