New Code Red double feature DVD release:

THE VAMPIRE'S NIGHT ORGY + DR. JEKYLL VS. THE WEREWOLF

Quote:
THE VAMPIRE'S NIGHT ORGY

A group of people are traveling by bus to the town of Bojoni, when the driver has a heart attack and dies. The group of passengers decides to drive to the near village of Tolnio instead to spend the night, and follow to Bojoni on the next morning. They find nobody in the apparently abandoned ghost city, but the next morning, they meet the hospitable dwellers. Unfortunately, their bus has a problem with the engine, and they have to stay in Tolnio a while longer. To their shock and horror, they soon find out that they are trapped in a vampire village, and their fight for survival begins! Directed by Spanish great Leon Klimovsky. Starring Jack Taylor, Helga Line, Dyanik Zurakowska, and José Guardiola.

Rated R 2.35:1 16x9 (c) 1974 International Amusements Corp./ Films Around The World.

DR. JEKYLL VS. THE WEREWOLF
Spanish horror great Paul Naschy returns as El Hombre Lobo for the sixth time as he searches for a cure to his full moon madness by visiting the grandson of the infamous Dr. Jekyll. What ensues next is a lover's triangle, as a savage sadistic Mr. Hyde roams modern London and transforms into a werewolf on the disco floor! One of Naschy’s best! Directed by Leon Klimovsky. Co-starring Jack Taylor and Shirley Corrigan (THE GODFATHER SQUAD)

Rated R. 1.66:1 16x9 (c) 1973 Filmaco, Inc.

Awesome news -- I knew VAMPIRES' NIGHT ORGY was coming, but didn't know they were doing the Naschy flick! Mondo Macabro released good versions of both of these in the UK, but they were clothed prints. It'll be great to see the nude versions in their proper ratios!

I wonder why there's no cover art on the site yet?

Thanks for the heads up, Katman. Just ordered it this morning. Never saw Dr. Jekyll VS The Werewolf, but happy to add it to my Naschy collection. I do like that cover art.

How can something be "sold out" and then not sold out? I get real time stock updates, but you either have x amount of stock or you don't!! And why on earth are these print runs so tiny? Wisdom says a slightly larger print run wouldn't be that much more expensive than a smaller run, so why? As I've said before, all this does is feed the secondary market, something which CR don't profit from. (The Exterminator being the exception of course.)

Bill probably prints out X amount and see's how quickly it sells out before he orders more. Or just sells them as he gets them. Apparently he's not a fan of the slightest overhead.

I have never seen either of these. But have ordered both upon reading users comments and that review that Bruce H link to. I'm glad my first viewing will be of the Code Red versions and not the cut or fullscreen versions which have existed until now.

I have blind bought a few from Code Red now and have not been disappointed. Bill has his faults no doubt, but he is releasing some good stuff still.

Can anyone explain how Code Red's numbering system works ? As you can see by my pic, the numbers have nothing to the with the order they were released in.

Also, I have only 12 Code Red DVD's, how many do you guys have ?
