Not really 24.99 is the SRP it was when it was released back in 2011, shipping fee had nothing to do with the DVD price. So the price was neither increase or decrease, of course you can always purchase it for 39.99$ or more from Amazon Marketplace if you prefer to do so...

Maybe but this isn't the SRP. You have paid the price the store sell it, not the one you would had paid if purchase directly from the label.

Just two exemples:

From Synapse: $24.95
From DiabolikDVD: $17.99
From Amazon: $18.71

From Vinegar Syndrome: $19.98
From DiabolikDVD : $14.99
From Amazon: $14.99

I'm sure you wouldn't say that Synapse Films and Vinegar Syndrome (or any other label) are crooks because of that exact same thing...

Mine cost me $18.99. As I said the shipping isn't part of the price and is irrelevent, but this isn't the point

Along with Stanley, Choke Canyon, Messiah of Evil and possibly more: http://codereddvd.bigcartel.com/
I like how in many of the Code Red title descriptions we are told how poorly the title previously sold.

I refuse to believe RITUALS sold poorly. Aside from the fact it's an awesome film, it was on many people's wishlists for a long time. So all these people who wanted it suddenly got cold feet and passed on the DVD?? No, it was a title even cheapskates would've gone for.

And now sold out again. C'mon - what is Bill doing? Selling 10 copies at a time? Are these titles that high in demand?

^ what I think is, is that it gets bought from 3rd party sellers a lot of the time, thus, no actual sales for that item.

I hate paying $28 for a DVD, but can't let this slip through my fingers again. Thanks for the heads up guys. Just ordered

I want to go Bolo Yeung on Navarre for shutting down BCi Eclipse/Brentwood, that label had passion and were set to do exciting things with Code Red.

Is that an Ape on the cover of Sexcula? I've heard the hardcore scenes were filmed in post production.

I agree but I guess it wouldn't be much cheaper that some of the sellers on Amazon- I think you can get it for $29.98 at the moment. I wanted to pick up an extra copy of Messiah of Evil but I'm not gonna pay $24.99 plus shipping. I bought multiple copies of that when it first came out to give to friends I knew would appreciate it. It's one of those rare films that I'd like to keep a back-up in my collection just in case of something catastrophic happening to my disc in play. This whole "it's out of print, but here are a few more up for sale" just seems kinda lame. In the item description Bill rants about how some French company ripped his master and ended up selling more copies than he did. How did THAT happen?
