Has anybody seen VIRGINITY or know the film well? I'd like to make a blind buy but can't find any info on the film anywhere. What kind of film is it in terms of tone/story?

Would love to own Curse of the Blue Lights but $31 shipped to my destination is too much for a DVD.

LOL... that review starts really well...
"Apart from slashers, two things proved to be big at the box office for horror movies in the '70s"

Slashers proved to be big at the box office in the 80s, not in the 70s.

The folks behind HALLOWEEN (often cited as the most successful independent of the time) would probably argue that.

Also, some folks have a broad definition of what a slahser is. Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Hills Have Eyes and Last House on the Left are slashers to some.

I'm not sure Black Christmas could be considered "big at the box office."

Black Christmas would be considered "big at the CANADIAN box office".

It has always bugged me when someone says that the original Hills Have Eyes is a slasher. Part II, yes, but Part I? Gah...

I Spit on Your Grave I will grant a pass, but Last House is a tad quick at the end, mmm? I suppose that could sort of work as well.

Im not talking 2 or 3 movies... sure, the 70s are the era where slashers started to appear in more number.
But slashers in general proved to be big at the box office in the 80s because almost every horror was a slasher of some sort.

The Code Red website no longer says that these will be shipping in 2 - 3 weeks, so hopefully that means they are shipping out now.

Can't wait to get mine!

With all his faults, you still gotta give him credit on shipping. All 10+ orders I've made with him, DVD's came within 3 days tops.
