Watched "Pets" last night. Soooo awesome and full of great drive-in sleaze. Candy Rialson is HOOOOOOTTTTTTTT! The fact that the only usable elements was an old beat-up drive-in print with scratches, emulsion lines, etc. totally adds to the way the film should be seen!
If you don't have this one yet and you're a fan of drive-in exploitation, pick up up "Pets" ASAP!

![]() Wish "Zombie 2" had that kind of look on the later discs from "Shriek Show" and Blue-Underground. Would bring back some of the old filth and grue to the movie, that´s been missing since the old VHS/LD days ![]() Most of these movies are made to look WAY to mint and jolly today. |

The Code Red website has been shortened down to one page. No moreTBA titles and no more blog. It is just links to Amazon to buy what is already available.
I hope The Redeemer and The Visitor will still both be released. |

That's what happens when a company is run by an emotionally unstable individual.
So much for Nightmare and Butcher Baker. Synapse? Can you help us out here?

well if _I get redeemer and madman and maybe nightmare I will be happy
hopefully night warning as well but who knows..... Seems kind of strange that a consumer has to carefully weigh every word and sentence concerning a product as not to offend the retailer especially thes days can't really ercall any venomous feedback just some unsatified accounts of products which forum members shared. Think most of it was because announced titles were some of the favorites of many here, I know I was drooling over rituals, night warning, nightmare, humen experiments and so on , and some came out others didn't.

Speaking of Synapse, any word on those Hammer titles that were announced earlier this year? I was hoping to see those by Halloween, but I guess we're going to have to wait longer.
As for Code Red, I think they shouldn't take it so personally that a large amount (most?) of the movies they release just aren't that good. Yes, they have some curiosity appeal to big time horror fans, but that's such a niche audience. It really isn't a criticism of Code Red that these titles don't sell; I tend to think any label would have trouble moving copies of stuff like Night Child and Night of the Dribbler...
