And Dvd Aficianado lists RITUALS as having the publisher "to be determined." Guess CR may no longer be fighting for this one?

They said they were, they are still waiting on the translation of the interview with the director.

And as stated, someone on this forum is in the process of doing the translation, but it won't be done until he's back home as he's out of country for work.

I don't understand their whole interlacing deal. How hard is it to just make a transfer progressive? This is 2010. Luckily, the PS3 fixes interlacing (I can't tell the Madman DVD they put out is actually interlaced when watching it) but with interlacing you lose out on resolution, so you're not even getting the fullest out of the transfer they made if they're just gonna release it interlaced.

It's perplexing. Code Red's first couple of DVD releases were Interlaced, and then they released all future DVD's progressively encoded...up until the releases of the last few months that is. New authoring house? who knows.

Worst part is Bill himself is fucking clueless. So that's the impression I get from them as of late. "OMG the transfer for MADMAN is inferior! I'm shutting down code red effective this coming summer!"
