Yeah their prices are decent but I live in Canada and will never order from them again as they have the worst customer service!

I placed an order from them and they kept complaining that there was a problem with my credit card, which is weird as I order all the time from American sites.

After that issue was resolved they charged me for the movies but I never received an e-mail stating they shipped them. After waiting a long time (About a month) and several (Over 5) e-mails they finally offered me a refund stating that they can't send the items as it has been over a month (Which is past the time they can pull up the order or something) and that I would have to just reorder them which means I wouldn't get them for the sale price and would have to pay more for shipping.

Oh, and when they finally refunded me (again, after like another 10 emails and over a month saying that I still haven't received their money), I ended up losing a few dollars due to them not refunding me the right amount and because they did it through Paypal. I didn't bother e-mailing them to get the couple dollars as I couldn't be bothered.

Needless to say, I didn't re-order from them and bought them from Amazon.

But yeah, terrible customer service! They don't even have a phone number to get a hold of them! You have to send an e-mail which they then take days to reply to.

Exactly. Did they not learn anything from that terrible Cinema Sewer menu. Just use the poster art and don't put that guy's face on it. Code Red just can't get out of it's own way.

The animated main menu of the disc is clearly a parody of the MGM "Lion" logo, right down to the gold filigree design. Cease and desist from MGM? I'd bet something like this is the problem with the release.

And also, why have DVD Beaver removed their review of the disc? The listing has also disappeared from stores like DVD Empire. This all seems very strange if this is simply a defective disc – which clearly it isn't.

That menu sucks but it is way better then the turd menu.

I get what you're saying and I will usually price compare before placing an order but sometimes it's nice not having to wait a couple of weeks to receive my order. Plus, the last few times I've ordered from Deep Discount and DVDP i've gotten floater discs in my packages. At least from amazon.ca stuff has less distance to travel so in theory less time to get jostled around. So I don't mind paying a little bit extra for convenience some times. As long as the price difference isn't insane.

One other thing, the $5 shipping is ok if you're only ordering one DVD. But the shipping gets pretty expensive if you want to order 3-4 DVDs in one shot. And you can't combine preorders with already in stock. They'll just ship the stock stuff first and ship the preorder stuff when it arrives. So you have to pay shipping twice.

Actually if the price is close I'll order from Diabolik just cause I like them.

Oh, and after all the nice things I said about fast shipping from amazon.ca my God's Bloody Acre didn't arrive today. Bummer. I'm sure I'll get it tomorrow which actually works well cause it's my birthday and it'll feel like I'm getting a present.

Is The Visitor worth watching? I'm not really familiar with the film but am a little curious. Not sure if I should blind buy it like I did with The Redeemer which I didn't quite like.

I just placed an order for God's Bloody Acre from a reliable online retailer that shows it as "in-stock".

I will tell where I ordered it after it ships, I'm a little worried that if they get flooded with orders mine could get lost in the shuffle.
