Unpopular opinion/pet peeve: People spending way too much time informing others that a movie they ordered has not yet arrived. Like: "I ordered Monday (or: Release day was Tuesday), today is Friday and it still hasn't arrived." Honestly, I couldn't care less whether it takes two days or two weeks for your order to arrive. I'd much rather read your thoughts on a movie or release when you've watched - well, most of the time. Now if everyone ordered from aintitawesome.com and their shipments got lost in the mail suspiciously often, that is nice to know, but don't let interesting discussions drown in boring info on your local postal service.

Ditto...usually if I have a shipping delay I post about how interactions with the merchant go...so if others have the same problem they are aware of what they may be in for. Posting things like "my order shipped!" or "I received my copy today" really irks me as well. Just post the fucking tracking number while you're at it.

And it's not just shipping, just look at the Vinegar Syndrome thread regarding Runaway Nightmare...people more concerned about what limited number they received but not a single comment about the actual movie.

Well, I think in the case of RUNAWAY NIGHTMARE, people (like me) wanted to let everyone who may be on the fence know that the numbers are jumping higher on a title that only gets 1,000 copies. Sorry.

And that is totally fine man...it's just that nobody had anything to say about the film. I think it would have been interesting to hear everyone's opinions and such...

Then again, I myself can't really find the words to describe that film. Ha!

I believe it was your comment that put it at the top of my stack! Was it a blind buy for you as well?

Yeah...I've read about it, but that was my first time viewing it. Definitely not what I was expecting...but I think the shear randomness needs to be experienced. The plot of the film is so simple, but there is no way in hell anybody could guess what happens in that "movie".

The Animal House-esque conclusion is what made me burst out laughing.

It's actually not too bad on this site. I like this site for thoughts on horror movies, and I like blu-ray.com as a source of info on releases. But interesting discussions on blu-ray.com tend to drown in irrelevant info on when individual members receive their copies. Honestly, who cares?

I don't like either Fright Night but the remake is more fun, I prefer it.

I likes the Fright Night remake but still definitely prefer the original. One of my main gripes with the remake was the terrible CGI. One moment it's pretty good cinematography and the next it's PS3 graphics.

It's my unpopular opinion that it's about time that Supernatural gets it's own line of action figures. A crappy show like Firefly gets cancelled after one season gets some, but none for the Winchesters going on ten? That's several shades of bullshit right there.

I loved the remake on first viewing. Later down the road I found a cheap used copy ($6 for the 3d set) and grabbed it. It wasn't nearly as fun the second viewing, not sure why. So it really doesn't hold a candle to the original, which I love more each time I watch it (and that's saying something since I've been watching it for 25 years or so now!)
