Where is this an unpopular opinion? If it is somewhere in the horror community, let me know because I want to go sign up.

PS Abortion is murder.

The Jury is still out on Poltergeist. I'm sure Tobe Hooper would have something to say about that.

Love these threads

Bava movies can be really boring with a few exceptions.

Day of the Dead has some of the best gore ever but you have to sit through 80 minutes of laughably bad dialogue and boredom to see it.

The Masters of Horror series are all pretty bad.

The Funhouse is one of the worst dead teenager movies of the 80's.

Troma movies are not crap, and no you can't do it better yourself.

While Army of Darkness was fun, it kind of brought the Evil Dead series to an unsatisfying end.

Eli Roth does kind of suck, but the irrational hatred towards him makes me like him more.

Paul WS Anderson is actually a very talented director and if it wasn't for producer interference, Event Horizon would be a modern classic.

Uwe Boll's movies aren't that bad, but it's his off-camera shenanigans that makes me despise him.

Piranha is Joe Dante's best movie, the rest aren't that good, including Gremlins.

Carrie is overrated.

Death Proof's cast of females were neither hot nor likeable, except the cheerleader. The movie was boring too.

See -if you could apply this logic:

Quote:

To this siutation:

You'd be on the right track.

1004. If you watch more than 3 hours of TV in a week - you're retarded.

1005. Fox TV is an abortion of entertainment, and yes, it's murder.

1006. Grudges are funny.

I knew that would come up. My hatred for Uwe isn't irrational. He comes across in interviews as a dickhead; when critics don't like his movies, he insults them or their mothers; his boxing stunt was pathetic; and his opening scene in postal is just disrespectful.
Edit: I'll take out the European comment. I did enjoy House of the Dead, though.

Eli on the other hand...when I ask people why they don't like him, they can't really give me an answer. They just say they don't.

If they had, they might have been worth watching.

I like Blair Witch 2. I assume that this is still considered an unpopular opinion to have?

I've actually never seen it. Not intentionally, just never got around to it.

Isn't that the general consensus? That's why I watch it.

Is it? I never thought people were aware of it, but then again, I do tend to tune out early in the midst of all the adulations. If that is the general consensus, I would change my objection to "I don't like most Italian horror."

Shoot'Em Up is the best action movie in decades

The Constant Gardener and City of God are overated and, well, mediocre. Oh, wait, City of God is crap.

Julia Roberts sucks.

Erin Brokovich stinks.

Solaris is a great film - and I'm talking about the remake.

Manzarek was the guy. Morrison was handsome and full of shit. His poems make me laugh.

Stallone is cool.

Ishtar is very funny. And Isabelle Adjani shows off her tits in one scene.

Female rock bands of the 90s were all very bad, with L7 being the only exception.

Ringo Star is a fuckin' great drummer.

Eric Rohmer sucks.

Godard's films in the 80s are really really good.

The Departed is the most poor Scorsese film ever.

Coppola is a better director too.

People who hate Cronenberg live in fear and hate to admit it.

Answering to comments in such a thread is pointless.

Cage is cool.
