Favorite Giant Insect Movie

I don't know about you guys, but when i was a kid i used to watch all those damn giant b-monster flicks from the 50s/60s on TV. Sure, looking at them now they seem cheesy as hell, but back then i couldn't get enough of those films.
So, if you got a favorite giant monster (or in this case, giant insects) movie, vote please.

I didn't include The Fly (original/remake/sequels) or The Beast Within cuz they are more "human" insects plus not tall enough.
However, i did include Bug and Ticks since some of them were actually way bigger (mutations) then their natural sizes.

My favorite is Kingdom of the Spiders but that wasn't a choice.

It's that William Shatner flick, right?
Sorry Jason, I've never seen that one.

It's cool - It does have William in it, check it out if you ever get a chance.

Hmm, tough choice here, enjoyed Them! quite a bit but I think I'll have to go with Mimic.

I'm not that familiar with the giant bug genre. I've seen Them, as well as many of the others, but not in at least 15 years. I haven't seen "Bug!" in about that long either but I do have vivid memories of it playing on USA late at night and occasionally on Saturday afternoons around the same time that they showed "The Children" so I have fond memories of it.

Technically, they're not really giant insects like the others. They're normal sized, perhaps slightly larger, but on the plus side, they had the ability to set shit on fire! Always very cool.

Thumbs up

Oh, and "Eight Legged Freaks" looks to be a great film. I can't wait until it arrives in theatres!
