Mill of the Stone Women new DVD
Right,I already have this one on DVD from Mondo Macabro and it's one of my favorites.
In the Bava vein with some added "Dutchness" although it looks more Belgian to me..Very nice,a bit erotic and very creepy. A Gothic classic! Now NEW (the German label) has released this as well.In two different covers: http://xploitedcinema.com/catalog/mi...e-p-13180.html ![]() and http://xploitedcinema.com/catalog/mi...e-p-13177.html ![]() Quote:
) though and the print will likely be the same. But it's still nice to see this Gothic classic mentioned again. And I love those covers! |

I got this in the mail yesterday but haven't had a chance to check it out. I will report back when I get the chance to give it a spin.

i have the Neo Publishing release, which has a bland slipcase but a superb cover (like cover B).
watched a couple of years ago and wasn't that impressed, maybe have to re-evaluate some time |

Solid release of a very good film. I'm glad I picked this up. I'll throw up some screen shots when I get a chance if anyone is interested, maybe if time permits I can throw some up of the Mondo Macabro disc as well.

I dig that first cover. Girls were so hot in the 60s! I may have to check this film out (it's always looked interesting but I never wanted to blind buy it, since I've batted about .500 with Mondo Macabro over the years).

Great to see Pierre Brice before his worldwide fame as Indian hero Winnetou, he's still a handsome fella today at 78!

Just popped over at http://www.cultmovieforums.com/forum...ad.php?t=13394 , thanks to the ABUK Forum thread in OT,where I coincidentally found a comparison between the MM DVD and the NEW DVD:
