Horror Films blamed in death of child

Can't find a motive? No problem, blame horror films.

"Millionaire executive unhinged by horror film killed daughter"

Guess Bug moved him somewhere besides out of the theater.

There had to be drugs involved is all I'm gonna say, or what ever happened to good old fashioned crazy?

The Daily Mail is the paper that caused the Video Nasty furore back in the day. They love a bit of censorship. As usual, the headline int he story doesn't jive with the story, which stops short of accusing the movie.

Basically, the Daily Mail is shit.

Now - today our prime minister, talking about a clampdown on knives carried in public places, said video game makers weren't doing enough and they shouldn't have knife deaths in their games. Now that's bizarre.

I love the cation under the poster for Bug, saying he was "'Obsessed' with the film The Bug." It indicates that not only is this slanted, but that the author didn't even watch Bug.

And those people suck.

If it were a movie based on a book, they could have went after the author too. Might as well go for broke.

It sounds like a better movie than the actual BUG.

For the wife to not get hurt and be powerless to stop him from doing that to their child, she must've been stoned out of her mind.

Wow. What a horribly written and horribly researched article.

Well it's almost like they can't blame a horror movie for this one, because Bug started as a play in New York. Also, have you gotten a good look at his eyes in the photo. Something doesn't quite look well to me...

He was involved in the world of business / finance - as further indicated by the quote in the article
Quote:
"Referring to his fellow executives at Swiss Re, he appeared to indicate that they were part of a sect and trying to take over the financial world."
Why the hell should we believe he wasn't slowly being unhinged by a life of always screwing everyone? And we don't exactly know what he did for a living. They say he was an "insurance executive." What kind of insurance? And what country did this take place in- England?
