Savage Weekend

I recently rented the Paragon vhs version of SW, but did notice online that Mill Creek Ent. has it on their 100 movie pack Horror Classics and a 50 pack called Drive-In Classics. Does anyone know if the print on these is a cut tv print or not? How about the prints for the other movies on these sets?

And does this company have their logo in the bottom right corner like most tv stations usually do? I've heard about a company that does that with their dvds, but can't remember the name.

Platinum does that, from my experience there are no logos on Mill Creek stuff.

An odd thing about Savage Weekend is my copy is absolutely devoid of nudity, and I have the official Paragon release. I never could quite piece that puzzle together.

The Paragon vhs has no nudity, but the Mill Creek one does?

I am not sure. Haven't watched it yet. I'm just trying to figure out if buying SW in that set is worth it or just sticking with the Paragon vhs is good enough.

I am pretty sure they're probably of the same quality. As for the nudity, I don't know. All I can say is I have a book on horror that references a good amount of nudity in the movie and in mine there is none, and I've seen pics online of the Paragon VHS that consist of nudity.

Hmmmm...Good to know. If anyone gets one of the Mill Creek sets with SW, post and let us know if it's got nudity like the Paragon vhs and/or is cut.

I should put mine up on Ebay as the RAREST OOPEST VERSION AVAILABLE.

I wish mine did have the nudity, that's the kind of thing a piece of shit like this needs.

This movie is a strange one for me. It's terrible...I know it's terrible...I always considered it one of the worst of the 70s slasher films...yet I can't look away...I don't know if it's for the "soon to be famous for other roles" cast or what but I find it strangely watchable.

I scored the VHS for a buck when a mom and pop shop was liquidating all their VHS titles a couple years ago. The cover and multitude of taglines sold me on first glance. I still haven't watched it though, but with this recent slasher kick I've been on, a viewing will definitely be soon coming.
