Press whcih I mean by screener. Not for resale or copy.

I skimmed on the dvd and seems like a military vs zombie movie. Lots of blood, guns, bullets and exploding heads.

My brother has friends in movie entertainment world.

I also have the shitty zombie strippers film.

I watched this last week and was generally unimpressed. It's one of those movies that you wonder how they managed to get the actors they did. The plot is very generic, its your typical 'last stand, band of hero's going in on a suicide mission to save mankind' deal, so we get all the melodramatic 'sacrificing themselves for the team' scenes and whatnot, and lots of screaming-out in agony as people they've known for like 3 hours die....despite the fact they all knew it was a one-way mission.

It really just yells low budget and bad writing. Lots of scenes that make you shake your head. For example its revealed early on that swords, not guns, are the only thing that can damage these mutants, and eveyone on the team gets equipped with them, yet they continue to use guns throughout the majority of it all.

I dunno, I'd say pass on it.

Ah so it's like all those zombie flicks that even though the people realize they're fighting zombies, and even see one get shot in the head and go down, while the others keep coming, they continue shooting the zombies in the chest? Always bugged me about zombie flicks.

Most of Europe got the untouched "extended" cut on DVD. Apparently there's a new version (11 minutes shorter) of Mutant Chronicles:

Quote:
"Magnolia have been really great in letting me go back to the cut and removing certain sections I did not like. This is a brand new cut NEVER before seen. I think with the huge rush of finishing the picture we needed a few weeks of screening the movie to audiences - there were always things I did not like in the cut but I have now been able to correct this. This cut is really the movie I want people to see - rough, fun, choppy and lots of b movie fun - try and check it out on HDNET this spring."
