This was a tough poll. Although I love Suspiria, I had to go with Phenomena. I love Jennifer Connelly in this role and that film is Argento's creepiest.

Several good ones but to me none are close to Suspiria

Nothing original about my pick. Suspiria, it's the best. Give me virtually any of his films and a notepad and it's paradise for me though. Well, maybe not Phantom of the Opera...

Welcome to the boards, Harry. Nice name.

This poll has virtually been done before here, but this one has some new pics, so I'll leave it open.

Spreading some love.

Suspiria will run away with this, but I'm going with Cat O'Nine Tails.

Recently I've switched favoriticism from Suspiria and Opera to Tenebre. It's the one I'm drawn to most these days.

Ive switched it a few times over the years. Used to be Suspiria, then Tenebre, now Deep Red. I'm sure it will cycle back someday.

He's made several classics but I always fall back on DEEP RED,Very clever, great score, some great shocks.David Hemmings was also one of Argento's most likeable leads.

Something about this poll feels... seriously redundant.

Suspiria. If the greatest works of art are the most unique, uncanny, and still at the same time highly effective, well-made, ambitious, and interesting... Suspiria succeeds and excells on all levels. It's one of the greatest horror films I've ever seen. Unquestionably, his best film.
