80's video labels: MEDIA HOME ENTERTAINMENT

Could've easily made three Media polls. Their output was amazing. Vote for your fave Media Home Entertainment release.

The first thing that pops into my head when I see the Media logo is Nightmare on Elm Street. Their logo is even shiny metallic, kinda like Freddy's blades.

To me, A Nightmare on Elm Street screams Media. I had a copy of the original VHS and while Media released some other gems, the whole rising logo and music makes me think of ANOES every time I pop in an old Media release. It happened with the old Fangoria's Weekend of Horrors tape, the other day.

This is the best of the 80's labels. Went with Sleepaway Camp but it's really so hard to choose.

One notable one (to me at least) that was forgotten:

Had to vote "other" for The Centerfold Girls. Since scoring the VHS, it has become one of my favorite films.

Tough choice here as there were a lot of great titles released by Media, but I had to go with A Nightmare on Elm Street. The VHS artwork always struck me as awesome.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space, every time.

With: Phenonema in 2nd, then Basket Case and A Nightmare on Elm Street running close 3rd.

So many amazing titles. I had to go with A Nightmare on Elm St.. But most everything on the list is a worthwhile runner up.
