Post Hous of 10000 Corpses Review

http://www.darkhorizons.com/news.htm

Its the very last thing mentioned. It sounds really interesting, but I'm still going to make up my own mind about the film. I figured many of you would be intereested in what's in it, but it doesn't give away anything about the plot yet (thank god!).

Sounds like it could be pretty good.

I figure it's only $7 to $8 bucks if I don't like the movie. I'll see it regardless of the pre-viwes/reviews.

Oh man, after reading that review, I just don't know how I'm going to manage the wait between now and June. I had already been drooling in anticipation for Corpses, but now...geez, it'll be hard to think about anything else.

I don't mean to step on anyone's toes, but I really hate what horror has become lately. Horror lately has become synonymous with Scream/IKWYDLS/Teens-from-hit-tv-show-in-peril type movies. I hate that. I have big, big hopes that Corpses will, if not change this, at least be a shining beacon in the '00s horror scene. So that instead of the locals going "Oh, you must really like Scream" when I mention I'm into horror, they might now have a new image of what horror should be with Corpses.

Damn, I want to see this SO bad.

Is Zombie's hot girlfriend in the movie?

Great, now you're going to set the T&A police off again.

yes indeed. check out the KICK ASS review of House over at the coming attractions site.

there's a 1st review that's not so flattering; but it obviously comes from someone who's not quite a fan of the genre.

this film is gonna rock.

Oh. My. God. I read that (second) review landrvr provided and I am drooling over this film. I know I shouldn't get high expectations, but damn, this looks like one movie that will live up to them and more.

My only fear is that Universal will listen to folks like the first reviewer and chop it up to please the mainstream. They've done it before and I'm afraid they'll do it this time.

I was thinking the same thing! How's it going to get past the MPAA intact?
Hopefully, Universal will release an unrated version for DVD! (Hell, they did it with American Psycho, Pitch Black, and American Pie.)

It looks a lot like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and hopefully it'll be as good as TCM. This one should be good! I'm a fan of Rob Zombie believe it or not... I think he knows what he is doing and this should be the horror blockbuster of the year!
