Outpost (2008)

Experiment gone wrong: WW2 Nazi Soldiers are still roaming at an old bunker somewheres in East Europe. Those who thought The Bunker (2001) and Deathwatch (2002) were boring should check this one out. Reminded me of Shock Waves (1977) and wasn't too shabby.

I rented it a while back, and found it entertaining as well. Shock Waves is a good comparison, and it also reminded me somewhat of The Keep in a few ways.

I liked this one alot too. A friend of mine blind bought it a few months ago, and I really enjoyed it...much better than The Bunker or Deathwatch IMO. I ended up picking up a used copy at Family Video a couple of weeks ago.

Saw this one last night. Hadn't heard anything about it and went in with very low expectations. Found myself enjoying it very much!

Don't remember much about Deathwach and The Bunker but I know I enjoyed this one more than both of them!

Not the best movie ever in any way, but you certainly could do much worse. Nazi-zombie-ghosts. Whats note to like!? ;-) Well worth a rent at least.

Same as others said. it has a Shock Waves feel. Not a bad movie. A little slow moving.

Might check it out. I had to FF through THE BUNKER and DEATHWATCH. I thought those films were interminable and just fucking terrible.

I keep checking back at my local Blockbuster to see if they have put one of their copies in the used section yet. I really liked this one a lot! I held off renting it for a while because of my boring experiences with others like Deathwatch and The Bunker.

Not that great! Great atmosphere. A bit like Event Horizon in that regard, but it was slow to start and the story was a bit hard to follow. I'm not really sure what it was all about. Not bad, but not great! Worth the $2.50 I paid for the used DVD.

As far as Nazi Zombie movies go, OUTPOST was pretty good. It reminded me of Michael Mann's THE KEEP.

I was looking up German Blu-ray releases and noticed there is a sequel from the same director.

The German Blu-ray of Outpost II is uncut and will street 04/27/12.
Enjoyed the first, will check out part 2.
