Well that shot where she's banging the door and the camera is on the floor facing up is taken (verbatim) from The Shining, and the idea is nice. There was too much noise in the trailer to make it disturbing to me, and all those MTV fast cuts that kill horror. However, the film might be good.
It all depends on the performance of the mother.

It's supposedly based on real events, that's if we're talking about Baby Blues directed by Lars E. Jacobson and Amardeep Kaleka. I haven't seen it but I wonder how it compare with something like In A Glass Cage.

Maybe the film plays different, but the trailer just makes it look like a run of the mill slasher with a twist (the victims).

I just finished it and thought it was garbage...this could have been one of the more disturbing films to come down the line in quite some time, but the directors chose to do nothing more than turn it into a run-of-the-mill slasher film, and far from a good one. The film doesn't explain the disease or delve into it at all, it just uses the disease as an excuse to have a mother go crazy and kill all of her kids. The acting isn't exactly good, the ending is laughable, and at only 75 minutes, it's still too long. Lame...

Whatever happened to trailers that didn't show everything the movie has to offer? I just got done watching it and have absolutely no desire to see the movie because the trailer was way too informative. It could have been trimmed by at least a minute and would have been much better.
