Talking Ginger Snaps- new werewolf flick getting raves.

Check this out-

Regardless of what you might think of Ain't It Cool News, remember that most of these reviewers aren't hardcore horror fans. Plus, it won a Special Jury Citation at the Toronto International Film Festival. It's so rare for a horror film to get accolades outside of horror fan circles that I think this one bears watching...

Ginger Snaps was also on the cover of the new Rue Morgue, with a very detailed article.

Looks good. Anyone know if I can find an early copy? Bootlegged perhaps?

I'm a bit worried when horror movies get rave reviews from non-horror fans. Usually that means that the horror element is toned down or unimportant. Maybe it won't be the case with Ginger Snaps, but I'm a little skeptical about it.

In any case, it may be a long wait seeing how no one has picked it up for US distribution. Worse, it may go to a Blockbuster exclusive, in full Pan&Scan glory yet.
