Wal-Mart here had the 2 disc director's cut of Zodiac on a $5 rack this week (or the FS bare bones for the same price). There were about 20 FS theater cut copies, but only 3 DC's. Pretty sweet as I was just thinking about revisiting that film and wondering if I could find the DC for cheap.

Also grabbed Point Break SE at Circuit City for $3.99. Haven't seen that one in years and that price is cheaper than renting here.

From a combination of gift cards and gift money I went out today and purchased:

BEYOND THE DOOR (with Ltd. Edition sleeve)
ROBOCOP (20th anniv. tin)
SCTV Volume 1
SUPERNATURAL Season 2

My wife and kids also got from me as gifts (so I get to enjoy them, too!):

I was there with a friend last night after seeing Valkyrie in the theater. I forced him to buy the Zodiac DC for $5, since he'd yet to see the movie. Then we got out of there quick...damn I hate going to that store anymore!

Yes they are. And that makes me have to ask... I started this trend didn't I? Nobody else seemed to do it before me.

Not that that's important. Just making conversation.

Me and my roommate bought a PS3 on Boxing Day, and the first 3 Blu-Ray DVDs I picked up happened to coincidentally be all of Rob Zombie's flicks. House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, and Halloween: Unrated Collector's Edition. I didn't plan it that way, it just happened. I didn't even buy them all at the same time.
