Yeah I know, but i wanted to watch the first movie before the sequel as I haven't seen it since I was a kid, and thought what the hell, for $6 it's worth it. That and they are selling on eBay for hefty sums of cash so... I could easily sell it after watching it for at least 6 x profit.

By the way, thought you might be interested, Futureshop has a bunch of Criterion Blus on sale until Jan. A bunch at $26. Not as cheap as the B&N sale, but it's still a good price for Canadians, and saves you shipping costs and month long waits (I placed an order through B&N on the 11th and my order isn't scheduled to ship until the 6th of Dec.!).

There are all $26

400 Blows (1959)
Chungking Express (1994)
Last Emperor (1987)
Sanjuro (1962)
Ride with the Devil (1999)
For All Mankind (1989)
Repulsion (1965)
Kagemusha (1980)
Red Shoes (1948)
Yojimbo (1961)
Last Metro (1980)
Charade (1963)
Bottle Rocket (1996)
Black Narcissus (1947)
Crumb (1995)
Bigger Than Life (1956)
Days of Heaven (1978)

I won a copy of the pillowcase set from Trailers from Hell and Shout! Factory on Twitter. It arrived today, signed by Amy Jones (director of the first film). I have no idea if it's the unedited commentary version and, truthfully, I don't really care.
