The Unborn
Has anybody seen The Unborn yet? I wanted to go see it tonight, but I've heard bad things about it and the PG-13 rating makes me hesitant.

Fangoria hated it.
http://www.fangoria.com/reviews/2-fi...lm-review.html I was going to go see this to support original R rated horror. Then I saw that it was PG-13 and went to see The Wrestler instead. |

I saw it last night unfortunately. All of the characters were simply throw away characters. I could have cared less for what happens to any of them. Absolutely no character development. All the creepy stuff you've seen in the previews is pretty much all of the creepy stuff in the whole movie. Also, the ending was EXTREMELY anticlimactic.
I was really disappointed and won't recommend it to any friends. A definite Netflix or cable movie. |

I'm not too worried about the rating though. Poltergeist was PG and that was brilliant. |

You're right, a solid movie is a solid movie regardless of rating. But if I'm on the fence about a horror movie and see that it's PG-13 then I skip it, especially in theaters.

Thanks everyone. I don't think I'll pay money to see this after all.

The film turned out to be better than I expected. No real great scares but some disturbing scenes. It scared my 13 year old daughter.
