You are probably right about that, though I don't have an AB copy, but one made by a cheap-o company called Boulevard Entertainment, meaning that what you said is even more likely.

Well, just as you all had suspected. This is being re-released November 24. It's being put out by Liberation Ent. Is this company legit?

http://www.amazon.com/House-Sorority...9525476&sr=8-1

It says 25th Anniversary Edition along the top of the artwork so it sounds like it's gonna be full of features. Let's hope.

Funny thing. I recently tried purchasing the Elite one on Amazon for fairly cheap. Of course, it turned out to be a bootleg (a bad one too, VHS dubbed to DVD). I was able to get my money back. Luckily now, I can get this one!

BTW, I used the search engine & found this thread so I added this info here. Didn't want you guys to yell at me for starting a new thread when this one already existed

If it has new extras I'll pick it up and sell off my older DVD. Here's hoping...

Already have the Elite DVD but you have to give them credit for still using the original art and not giving it some lame update like Last House on the Left.

Cool that the expensive Elite disc is finally being put to bed. I hope they put some extras on this. I'm eager to revisit it, since it was an early slasher watch for me and one that disappointed me initially, but that was coming off screenings of Halloween, Friday the 13th - The Final Chapter and My Bloody Valentine. Seeing, and loving, so much zero grade slasher crap over the years will probably make me a much more receptive watcher this time 'round.

Yeah I think they are legit, but I have a couple of their releases and the quality really sucks. VHS or old Video master transfers basically.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was simply a port of the old Elite transfer.
