A bad year for slashers, but a solid year for good campy fun. Tough to choose from the bulk, but in the end it was a toss up of sequels between ROTLD 2 and Critters 2. I went with Critters, since it's always been a childhood favorite. The part where the kid holds up the Playboy to stop the alien from morphing into the Freddy Krueger poster on his wall is so classic. That and the finale when the Critters form a giant ball of destruction. It definitely holds its own with the fun first film.

Damnit, solid choices yet again!

I'll go with Night of the Demons, but there's quite a few films up there that I love.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space. Other favorites from '88 include Return of the Living Dead Part 2, Dead Heat, and Demonwarp.

There are a lot of great ones on this list but I came in thinking "Traci Lords is Not of This Earth." Then I saw Lady Terminator and instantly knew that had to get my vote. I honestly think it's even better than Cameron's Terminator.

Killer Klowns just for nostalgia's sake. Good memories cracking up to that as a kid at sleepovers.
