Autopsy of the Dead: NOTLD Doc

Just read about this on Amazon, looks like quite an extensive documentary on the 1968 classic NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD.

Here's the link; http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002FZPR2O/...dvdverdict3-20

Clocking in at 144 minutes, and with special features to boot, I may just have to snag this up. Anyone heard anything about it?

Thanks for posting this! Sounds interesting but I'll wait for some reviews. I recently came across another NOTLD DVD called Zombie Jamboree: 25th Anniversary Convention for "Night of the Living Dead"

http://www.amazon.com/Zombie-Jambore...d=JZYN321HJDIN

Does anyone here own this? How is it & is it worth picking up?

looks cool, but 30 bucks for a single disc, 2.5 hour long feature? I personally can't justify spending that kind of cash. That said, I'm hoping it hits Netflix.

Special Features
Locations of the Dead: A visit to the original filming locations
1967 Behind-the-Scenes Newsreel

Release date is September 22. The DVD will be All-Region, NTSC format
and will be available through www.AutopsyOfTheDead.com and www.Amazon.com

The main documentary alone is 2 hrs 24 minutes plus the special features which brings it under 3 hours. Then for hardcore fans there will be another 50 minutes of interviews which are not included on the DVD but will be available as online exclusives in the near future to watch at www.AutopsyOfTheDead.com and www.NOTLD68.COM . The exclusive footage has a lot of background history on the individuals interviewed (lives before and after NOTLD). The majority of that footage is very different from the 21 interviews in the documentary.

We thought fans would enjoy seeing this additional footage and we decided to share the clips online rather than storing them away in the vaults. It allows the fans to find out even more about the talent behind the film. So between the Autopsy Of The Dead DVD and the 50+ minutes of free online interviews - fans will have nearly 4 hours to view.

Not interested. The "One for the Fire" doc on the Dimension disc is enough for me.

Amazon is sold out but will be restocked shortly. Appreciate the interest.

The DVD is in stock at the official site www.AutopsyOfTheDead.com and orders ship right away - besides being $4 cheaper than Amazon.

Those who love this film as much as I should pick this up asap. This isn't like most other docs. They manage to go on location from the cemetary to the house and everywhere else. They dug up people to interview that you would never expect. The photos are great and the stories are better. Buy this now.
