Does anybody remember Marshall Discount Video?

I think Marshall Discount Video was one of the first mail-order video businesses I became familar with. They used to advertise all the time in Fangoria. I remember when I would come home from school and I would be thrilled when there was a new release update in the mailbox. I used to go crazy looking over titles I wanted, but this was during the days when videos cost $59.99. If you could get something for $29.99 it was considered a bargain.

I still have my Paragon tape of Dr. Butcher MD, and the Continental big box release of The Deadly Spawn along with some other tapes.

I believe they went bankrupt in the early 90s. I had an order with them and I never received the item or got my money back.

Did anybody else ever order anything from them? I think they were up in Michigan.

ha!

I do remember it but I never ordered from it, as far as I can recall.

I also have the Paragon tape of Dr. Butcher M.D. I think this is the only actual uncut print (even though that intro wasn't part of the actual movie).

I also have the big box of The Deadly Spawn as well! Classic. I also have Nightmare as well. Whatever happened to Code Red putting this one out anyway?

I just registered to this site. A longtime lurker. I purchased THE PROWLER, Savini FX uncut in the large video box in the late 80's, sold it on ebay years ago. Cool mail order catalogue, stapled in the corner with lots of titles. Back in the day!
