Obligatory thread, because I have to know if anyone saw this.
From the trailers on TV, I had no idea what this was: spoof of Twilight, Bloodrayne, or one of those Wayans Brothers-esque catch-alls? Or, was it simply a horror-comedy? Here's a trailer IMDb synopsis: Quote:

Believe it or not I actually tried to see this on opening weekend but it was playing nowhere near me.
Why did I try to see it? I was bored. This is actually Dorm Daze 3 and I was curious. |

It made the record books on opening weekend, the lowest grossing opening ever for a film that opened in over 1,000 screens. It pulled in just $274,000 ,grossing just over 200 bucks per screen.Yikes.

My theater got this in last week and we lost it this week. It's one of those rare movies that we only kept for a week, joining the ranks of such quality films as Delgo, Doogle, City of Ember and a few others I'm forgetting. When I've worked this past week I've only seen maybe 4 people go see it, and that includes over the weekend.
It didn't look the least bit funny either, for example I walked in on one scene where a horse would fart everytime one of the characters would say a certain word....you know it's like they made the film for 10 year olds, and yet it's rated R. Anyway, you guys didn't miss anything. |
