The Nest has been pushed back to February 19 (from January 22), in order to fix some audio issues.

Yeah hoping for The Fog, The Burning and The Howling. I have high hopes that these are three of the titles they're going to announce. They've probably been holding off on the bigger titles for this specific announcement.

I'm rootin' for you guys on The Fog. If Universal titles are part of this annoucement, I'd vote for Army Of Darkness and Child's Play 2.

I'm starting to wonder if Shout has any Fox titles up their sleeve? They mentioned that they've announced all of their Universal aquisitions, but I don't think they've said anything regarding Fox. Could The Fury be on its way?
I mean, I'm assuming like everybody else that the "super six" will be MGM titles, but those Scanners announcements from a couple of weeks ago got me thinking otherwise...

If it helps. Scanners 2 is owned by Fox.

My predictions,
The 6 That Will Be Announced The Fog (This seems like a sure thing. One of my favourite films, please don't let me down.) The Howling The Howling 2: Your Sister is a Werewolf (One of the best so bad it's good films. Would be great to watch with Troll 2, Pieces, and Burial Ground) The Burning Dolls (Seems like a shoe in after the other Empire Pictures titles announced.) Lifeforce Other Possibilities Scarecrows Pumpkinhead (Good film, but I for some odd reason don't have a strong feeling about this one) Carrie (With remake coming MGM may want to release this themselves) Without Warning (Haven't seen this but has a small following and sounds good. Is it big enough though?) The Brood (Maybe but I have a feeling Criterion got this one along with Scanners.) Ghoulies/ Ghoulies 2 (These would have to be released together and I doubt two of the choices would go to these.) New Year's Evil (I've heard that this film isn't that great.) Even More Possibilities but I Doubt It Burnt Offerings Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night 2 (They seem to love releasing sequels even if they don't have rights to the first film) Lord of Illusions Night of the Comet The Phantom of the Opera (1989) (I hope not as this film wasn't very good) Troll/ Troll 2 (Don't know how many would want part 1 if part 2 was not included, which definitely needs a SE or at least the excellent Best Worst Movie doc. included) From a Whisper to a Scream Motel Hell (Fun flick but don't think it's big enough) Cellar Dweller Squirm (Don't think it's big enough.) Frogs (Don't think it's big enough.) Raw Meat Would Love to See but Unlikely Army of Darkness (This movie definitely needs a 2 disc set from Scream but probably not until they get soem more titles from Universal) The Thing (This movie definitely needs a 2 disc set from Scream but probably not until they get soem more titles from Universal) Prince of Darkness (Would love to see this but it sounds highly unlikely until they make another deal with Universal) The Keep (A man can dream can't he?) Fright Night 2 (A man can dream can't he?) Clownhouse (Probably not due to the controversy surrounding this film.) Tales from the Crypt / Vault of Horror The Fall 2013 Boxset Vincent Price Collection (Tales of Terror, Twice Told Tales, The Abominable Dr. Phibes, Dr. Phibes Rises Again!, Theater of Blood, Madhouse, Witchfinder General) Other Possiblities Amityville Horror 1-3 Child's Play 1-3 Phantasm 1-4 ( I would love this! Just depends on whether or not they could work out a deal with Anchor Bay.) Psycho 2-4 Last edited by spawningblue; 11-15-2012 at 04:52 PM. |

i'd rather an SE of Child's Play 3 along with Child's Play 2 over another release of Army of Darkness. The evil dead releases have been overdone. Hell, commenting on the fact that evil dead releases have been overdone has been overdone.

I think Swamp Thing much more likely then Howling 2 or Dolls. Dolls would be great though.
I hope Lord of Illusions is on the table. That's one of my favorites and if Criterion doesn't have the Cronenberg's I hope Shout releases The Brood too. Night of the Comet seems very possible to me too.
