I don't even think the current BD of Carrie is that bad. Sure, it has zero extras, but I can't imagine it looking much better. If anything, a new version might be another Predator: Ultimate Hunter Edition fiasco.
Here's my stab at the "super six": The Burning Dolls The Fog Lifeforce Night of the Comet Prom Night II Alternates: The Fury Hell Night The Howling Pumpkinhead Scarecrows Squirm

They posted a poll on Facebook about "Favorite Linda Blair Movie", so I'm wondering if they were hinting at Hell Night?

Just please give us THE BURNING ..... my favorite slasher by far and needs a really nice transfer on blu ray with some good extras if possible !
If this is announced it will make me get some serious trouser arousal !!

everybody seems to think The Burning, The Fog, and Dolls. I'd love a blu ray of The Fog, and the other two are fine as well, but part of me is going to be a little disappointed if the 6 they announce are all the ones people have been predicting. I hope there's a few real surprises in there.

My picks:
The "Super Six":
Dark Horse: Hell Night Alternates :
The Fog seems to be a sure thing. Everything else is a toss up. |

Although not horror, Escape From New York would be cool. I'd love to see a SE blu-ray of that.

I'd vote for an SE of Escape from LA first, although I don't think Shout has done any deals with Paramount, have they? I'd love to hear Kurt Russell and Carpenter do a commentary for that one. Escape from New York is great, but we've already got a great DVD SE, and there's a bare bones BD out there too. I'd rather something completely new over more-or-less a combination of two existing packages, even if it is for a lesser film.

Personally fudge The Burning, The Fog etc. requests. I want more stuff never released on any format before.
Those films listed above have great SE dvd's that look just fine. |

Agreed. Except for the John Carpenter titles. I want all of those in HD with lots more interviews with Carpenter himself.

I wouldn't mind a SE of Prince of Darkness.

What about Psycho 2-4 or Child's Play 2 and 3 since Shout has license deals with Universal?

i like psycho 2 and 3 well enough, but i'm a little surprised by how many people would want any or all of the sequels on BD. definitely not something i'd be eager to buy.

I would upgrade Psycho II to Blu-Ray in a heartbeat, not the other sequels though.
