Good point... didn't think of that. Suggestion rescinded, haha.

I want to rent and watch both Forbidden Planet and Galaxy of Terror. I've never seen them but they look like sleazy fun. It might be awhile though since Rock n Roll High School still has a VERY LONG WAIT on Netflix.

And it's good to see the SPM triple feature is still set for October 5th. I want that so badly.

I hope so. My old VHS of Confessions of a Serial Killer is getting worn out. It's had a shitty R2 DVD release before, but that was absolutely worthless. Never before have I seen a film be so censored and edited.

The Death Race 2000 Blu-ray looks quite nice. The film isn't exactly mind-blowing in HD, but this is probably the best it has ever looked...and far better than all of the old DVD editions.

Again we don't get an uncompressed or lossless audio track, but the Dolby 2.0 track is offered at a respectable 448kbps at least.

It's pretty cool that the coverart is reversible, with the alternate Asia artwork on the flipside. The 12-Page booklet is also a nice touch.

Just watched the Death race 2000 Blu, Thought it looked stunning myself, With just a few shots looking slightly off with minor print damge etc..Very impressed. The reversible cover was a nice touch too. Wasn't expecting any booklet or liner notes so that was also a welcome bonus The extras are all excellent too, Like the Carradine interview where he lets loose on how he got $50,000 of the $350,000 budget, Legend.
