As always, we are planning to provide as many bells and whistles as we can on this release, but we felt it was important to tell you early on that we will only be able to present the 91 minute U.S. cut of the film (the same version MGM has released on DVD since '05) and not the 93 minute "unrated" international version as we had originally hoped for. This is due to legal issues that are out of our control and we hope you understand.

Stay tuned for more specific details – including exact street date - that will be revealed in the next 2-3 months!

So it won't be the uncut version which is disappointing. As I recall Barbeau's contract is the reason why it can't be released stateside.

I’ll pick it up for the extras…

I’m a pretty rabid Swamp Thing fan (not really of the film though), so it might be worth it...maybe be a featurette involving the comic book background? The extras probably would have been more interesting if Hess was still alive.

Anyone get the 4 Action-Packed Movie Marathon set? I'm working my way through it, only on to Alienator so far. The only I've watched so far has been Cyclone, which is kind of a blast actually, very fun movie that I'd heard of but never thought about watching before.

While I understand why Scream can't do it, why doesn't MGM do something about it?

BUT I have seen Cyclone, Eye of the Tiger and Exterminator 2.

Cylone is a lot of fun and both Eye of the Tiger and Exterminator 2 make for a perfect double feature.

I haven't seen Alienator.
